We are thrilled to announce that our groundbreaking research on SQANTI3 has been published in Nature Methods! SQANTI3 is a cutting-edge tool designed for the quality control, curation, and annotation of long-read transcript models obtained with third-generation sequencing technologies. By leveraging its annotation framework, SQANTI3 calculates quality descriptors of transcript models, junctions, and transcript ends. This capability allows for the identification and replacement of potential artifacts with reliable sequences. Additionally, the integrated functional annotation feature enables subsequent functional iso-transcriptomics analyses.
