Genomics of Gene Expression

stagegra partnersOn behalf of the Conference Steering Committee, we are happy to announce the upcoming celebration of the “SMODIA 2015 conference: Statistical Methods for Omics Data Integration and Analysis”, to be held in Valencia from 14th to 16th September 2015.

The SMODIA 2015 conference is jointly organized by the FP7 STATegra project, the conference includes lectures by STATegra members and contributed talks as well. The organizations have come together to organize the second high impact conference on omics data in Europe that aims to become a yearly not-to-miss bioinformatics meeting. The goal of the Conference is to be a showcase for cutting-edge strategies, methods and software tools for integrating and visualizing multiple- omics datasets.

Our target audience is of 250-300 experts, researchers and scientists in Genomics, Computational and Systems Biology, Bioinformatics and Biostatistics that work on the analysis of omics data, such as transcriptomics, metabolomics and genomics, or who are pursuing to run multi-omics projects in the future and need to stay up with the state of the art in this topic. In this 2015 edition, we are proud to count with world-class keynote speakers such as Dr. Martin Morgan, leader of the Bioconductor software project for the analysis of high-throughput genomic data of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Washington; Dr. Lennart Martens, group leader of the VIB Department of Medical Protein Research; and Dr. Jason Ernst, Principal Investigator at UCLA (Los Angeles) in the Departments of Biological Chemistry, Computer Science and Bioinformatics Program.

The venue for this event is the Príncipe Felipe Research Center, located in the beautiful Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias in Valencia, Spain. The Center counts with a modern auditorium for over 300 seating attendees and wide spaces for exhibitors and poster presentations.

We invite you to become either a Gold, Silver or Bronze sponsor for this event. Please, find the Sponsoring fee to learn about our sponsoring packages.

We are very excited about this meeting which we are sure will be a scientific and participation success, and we hope to count with your presence and support.
